      If I were you don’t get this car I got mine when it had 46k miles on it drove it until it had 115k It blew a motor at 55k miles because a bolt in the intake broke and fell into the motor Ford mechanics also said it jumped timing Now at 115k miles my PTU is going out And it’s out of warranty still owing 9k on it Also my trade in value on it is 3,000 LOL

      After getting 256,000 miles on my focus, I bought this ford fushion. After recall which is a pain and cost me a rental car. 1.5 years later had to put it in for repair. The radiator fluid was going into my engine. At 46,000 miles and got a new engine under warranty, which is great but wondering when it's breaking down again. I need a reliable car and checking around not much cars are Available unless used ones.

      I bought a Titanium trim model with the 2.0 Ecoboost. It had 79k miles on it when I bought it. It's white with light leather. The features & amenities have been terrific. Truly a first class ride. Plenty of power, a quiet cabin, and excellent sound system. Fuel efficiency is acceptable for the sporty performance, but if you're gentle and run premium fuel it'll do 31 mpg. Now, over the years I got to know a few idiosyncracies about this model. At 160k miles or so, my throttle body bit the dust. An aircraft mechanic by trade, I ordered the parts and fixed it in an hour. Total cost of that repair was $147. At 176k miles I replaced the rear right strut mount for something like $40. The design of the suspension made this a particularly easy job: five lug nuts, 4 bolts, one concentric nut, done. At 202k miles, my driver's side window motor gave up the ghost. I believe I asked too much of it on a particularly icy morning. Side note: great winter vehicle! Anyway, the window motor repair was less than $100 but considerably more difficult than I anticipated. Still, I believe anybody with patience and a ratchet set can handle it. Most recently, I've gotten a check engine light with a cat system code. Replaced both O2 sensors, flashed PCM. We'll see if it comes back. Smoked a porcupine the other night and while checking for damage I found the rear stabilizer bar has a crack. Will be replacing it soon ($80 or so). My overall experience with this car has been phenomenal. I've replaced the battery literally once. Regular oil changes and air filters are a no-brainer. Since the power steering is electric, there is no threat of a leaky rack or cavitation in the pump causing that telltale whining sound. Safety ratings are great and if I could clone this thing and have it from new I would.
